Dr. Soneji received his PhD in Demography from Princeton University, MA in Statistics from Columbia University, and BS in Mathematics from the University of Chicago. He has previously held faculty positions as an associate professor at Dartmouth College and University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. A widely published author of 85 peer-reviewed publications, his work has appeared in prestigious outlets like The New England Journal of Medicine and the New York Times. His areas of research interest include health disparities, maternal and infant health, and tobacco control. He also served as an active duty Captain and flight test analyst in the United States Air Force.
